Well guys I have just about tested and changed every sensor in the car and changed things like injectors and what not, if anyone had followed my other thread a few weeks back they will remember. The only thing left is the computer. What are the chances of the computer messing up or going bad in these cars? I would figure the computer would go bad before the chip would. It just aggrivates me that the car runs worse cold and gets a little better when in closed loop but still not good. Just curious guys, thanks.

Ive had a couple go out on me so yea they arnt the strongest things out there and if you replaced everything else then maybe u should consider the computer. Do you have a buddy that will loan you a good computer to test?

Yes, 89 and before used the 165, 90-92 uses the 730. I bet you can pick up a 730 for cheap in the classifieds, they are very common and came on a lot of cars.

I had one die once, however what would happen is the car would just shut off then not start for a random period of time. My understanding is that it is pretty much all or nothing.
