Here's the whole deal. A while back I blew a head gasket. I had the dealer change it and they changed a few valves that were bent in the process. When I got the car back it didn't seem to have the power it did before and now it seemed to hesitate off the line. I changed my O2 sensor since they didn't but that didn't help. I did some reading and found out that when you blow a head gasket or overheat that the heat is transfered to the tranny via the cooling lines. I have the tranny checked out and it needed a rebuild. So I just put in a whole new one from pro-built. But the car still has the problem. It seems to do it more when the car is cold. If I let it warm up it drives a lot better. What it does is it bogs down at around 35mph till about 55mph. Then all of a sudden it will start accelerating even while I let up on the peddal. I have to almost let up completely. I changed the fuel filter but that didn't really do anything. I was thinking it could possibly be clogged fuel injectors. I'm sending them to Cruzin Performance in about a week to have the blueprinted. Can anybody help me?

if it was fine before it most likly isn't a mechanical problem try the tps, iac, etc.all these were disconnected whhen they worked o the car..

I'd start by setting the timing, could be you had the base timing bumped up from factory specs, and they set it at factory.
I don't think there could be enough heattranfer with a blown headgasket to do any harm to the tranny, especially not enough to cause a rebuild.

I did some reading and I think it might have something to do with the coolant temp sensor. When you blow a head gasket and overheat as bad as I did you have to change some of the sensors such as the O2 sensor. I read that in my Haynes manual. I never looked up the coolant sensor until yesterday. I'm going to change that and see what it does.
