No fuel pressure...HELP!!!!
I have an '89 T/A with a 305 TPI. It died on me the other day and I assumed it was the electric fuel pump, replaced it, still no pressure. Checked fuse near front by battery, not that...car has a complicated Viper alarm system, could this have some sort of fuel cut-off in it? I haven't owned the car long and don't have much info on it's history ( i.e. alarm system.) When it died, it was low on gas and we had just tuned it and sprayed injector cleaner into the body. It has new fuel filter. When it sits for a while the pump will work, then if you shut it off and on a couple of times the pump won't start , the car starts but no fuel pressure to accelerate. Could it be a relay?? Any help???

You may want to check your fuel pump relay.
I think it's on the drivers side firewall along with 2 other relays, MAF power and Burnoff. The MAF relays are the same part number, and the fp relay is the different one. You can pick one up at the auto store for $10-$15.
Then there is the oil pressure sender. This also connects to your fuel pump electrical circuit. You may have a bad wire or connection on it.
