TPI Runners
I am wondering which SLP runners to get. I am going to delete the cold start on my car, so should I get the 89-up runners? I am just curious if they will bolt up to my stock 88 base, or if there will still be a hole that needs plugged.

Re: TPI Runners
They will bolt right up just be sure you swap rails or plug the hole for cold start injector. Also there is a computer mod or you might have trouble starting the car.

If you run the '89 prom, it will add the extra fuel at startup. You may need to delete VAT's...unsure on when Pontiac began to use VAT's.
The CSI isn't ECM controlled..IIRC, the earlier runners (with the CSI hole) are less expensive then the newer ones, so really, you could leave it all as-is, and just unplug the CSI injector wire and run the newer MAF prom.
But if you want a cleaner look, then yes, get the '89-up runners, and looks for a plug for the end of the fuel rail...used to be a member here who had a bunch made...either Jim85IROC or JIM86IROC, and was selling the plugs at near cost plus shipping.

Re: TPI Runners
u need the 89 and up and u need a custom burnt chip with the cold start injector deleted and the added fuel to the other 8 injectors... 89 and up chips wont work bc of the VATS.
