Re: corvette lt1 camshaft

I don't believe there was any difference. Year for year, same as the F-body LT1 cam.

Re: corvette lt1 camshaft

Not sure if you meant same pattern, dur, and sep. or just they both physically fit in my sbc?

Re: corvette lt1 camshaft

I mean same specs.

The LT1 cam differed in specs slightly from year to year, but within a given year I beleive the specs are the same between LT1 F-body motors and LT1 Vette motors.

The Vette had better flowing exhaust, dual knock sensors, different oil pan and a better air filter/intake system, but was internally all the same specs as the F-body LT1 within any given model year.

In the 98-up LS1 motors GM originally intended to remedy this situation (the F-bodies being too close in performance to the Vette) by giving the F-body motors a milder cam than the Vette, but that didn't happen. Even LS1 F-body motors share their cam with the top-dog Vette.

Re: corvette lt1 camshaft

Your 305 would like the B-body (Caprice, Roadmaster, Fleetwood, ImpalaSS) LT1 cam even better. It has tighter lobe separation, better IVC event, and makes more midrange torque than the F/Y LT1 cams in the 350 motors. I'm still running this cam in my 4000 lb ImpalaSS and running mid 12's on motor only.
