Too much lift?
Too much lift?
ordered a cam for a 88 trans am 305 TPI today
what I've done to the car: port plenum, blaster coil, MSD wires, cut airbox, TB bypass. cam is comp cams # 08-408-8 with 206/212 dur @ .05, .480/.487 lift, 110 sep. Note: this is about the only cam I can get within a couple days (car's apart). Is this too much lift? will it idle?
Thanks

The lift looks ok, but i'd worry bout the stock valve springs if yer still using them. I don't know what they can handle but that might be pushing it. Yes it should idle.
