I was wondering if I need to do any modifications to my engine if I put a Vortech S-tirm Supercharger on it? Is a 350 TPI with SLP 1 3/4" headers, 3" mandrel bent pipes all the way out with a high-flow cat and Flowmaster 80 series, and K&N airfilters. Also can I fit an Aftercooler from an LT1 S-tirm on my supercharger system?

 

im not sure what your question is but theres nothing u really "have" to do to your car before u put on a blower...these things just optimize what you already have...intake, cam, heads, exhaust, gears...everything helps but to answer the questoin bluntly NO you dont have to do anythign else but once u get a taste of speed youll just want more. Also anything is possible with money as far as the intercooler setup goes. Check out www.spearcointercoolers.com they used to supply vortech and ati with their intercoolers and make grade A stuff...thats where i got my aftercooler for my truck from...all together you could probably piece together a kit by yourself including everything youd need to hook it up for less than $1000.
