I have a 91 convertible that i just converted to 5spd. It is currently a 5.0 TBI. I also have an 87 350 with vortec heads sitting in my garage. This weekend i will more then likely buy an 87 trans am tpi 5spd as a parts car. I am planning to take the wiring harness, comp, and tpi components to swap into my car. My question is will the 87 tpi system be a good match for my 91 tbi motor or will it work better with my 87 350. I know my 350 has vortec heads and will not bolt on but I may get rid of them and get standard l98 heads. The car I just want as a cruiser and maybe to drive to work from time to time. I am not really interested in racing it I just want it to have decent power.
