Will a stock LT1 cam fit a 1987 L98 engine with out a problem? If not what modification would it require? I've heard that the LT4 HOT cam is too long and requires a little modding. So what about the LT1?

Yep, as long as you've got a roller 87+ engine. But you might have to shorten the pin on the front of the cam if its from a 96-97 LT1, or it'll hit the timing cover.
