Possibly the wrong board, but, PROM / Cranking

I replaced the 305 for a 350, and everything worked OK. I have just replaced the 305 PROM with a 350 PROM (Brand new GM), and now, when the car has sat for any length of time, it takes a lot of cranking to start the engine. The fuel pump can be heard to run.
Any suggestions.
BTW, I am still running 19# injectors, and this engine does have the CS injector

Cheers

Richard

Did you increase the fuel pressure to make up for your lack of 22# injectors? If not, that is your problem. Get the correct size injectors, or an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks for the quick response.
Interesting, I never thought about that.

Now to find some injectors.

Cheers
