Tpi value

may not be the best place to post this but I have come across an 86 305 tpi lb9 complete engine with computer and wiring harness. I have not purchased the engine yet but it was said to be rebuilt one year before pulled no papers of coarse (I'm not interested in the short block) I just want the tpi what do you think that the tpi wiring harness disy and comp are worth?

Re: Tpi value

Maybe 100-150 bucks. The older MAF systems are less desirable, since replacement MAF sensors are way expensive, and the '165 ECMs are problematic. However, if the ECM is known to be in good working order, it shouldn't be too hard to sell on ebay, to replace someone else's broken '165. However, the pre-87 lower intake is desirable among hot-rodders because it works with the pre-87 head intake bolt pattern.
