what can i accomplish with $2000?
i have an 85 iroc z tuneport 305. planning on a 350? depending on what can be done with a 305. i want to get between 350 to 400hp. aslo would like to stay fuuel injected. aslo i'm running the accel supercoil, and thermomaster chip.

20's! lol just kidding. I would probably get a nice 350 short block, and some L98 aluminum heads or edelbrock performers, a good cam, and go from there. You could pick up some extra power by porting the stock plenum, runners, and base, which doesn't cost too much.

You would be better off buying a zz4 crate motor and put your stock TPI on it.
