Basically im 2 days away from being complete with my project, as of now i have one delema, I need all sensors which are located on a TPI manifold, its from a 87' Motor but i bought a Edelbrock intake manifold. Could u possibly name all types of sensors that are located on Intake manifold for Tuned Port Injections. My mechanic and I are in need of help on this question, thanx

 

go to the dealer and look at the parts screen for the manifold. you just asked a very vage question. I can only think of the temp sendors like air temp, coolant temp, egr pos sensor(should be with the egr)

 

On the front,

- cold start injector temp sensor (the larger of the two)
- coolant temp sensor

On the top-middle:

- EGR valve

Driver'side

- cold start valve

Upper plennum - underneath

- MAT (manifold air temp)

Throttle body:

- TPS (throttle position sensor)
- IAC (idle air control valve)

Passenger side block

- knock sensor

Rear of block, or lower drivers side

- oil pressure / fuel cut off switch

Attached to a bracket on the intake

- EGR solenoid


That's about all I can remember.

Mass Air Flow Sensor or Manifold Air Pressure Sensor
(Depending what computer you have)
Coolant Temp Sensor & Mass Air Temp (same part number)
Throttle Position Sensor
Idle Air Control

Elsewhere:

Oxygen Sensor
Knock Sensor
Oil Pressure Sensor
