A little help...Is it the speed limiter or what??
I have recently changed the gear from a 2.73 to a 3.42. I haven't got a chance to change the speedo gear so it reads very high compared to my actual speed. I got on it a little tonight and when the speedometer got to around 110, the car felt like I was letting off and stomping it very rapidly. Is this the speed limiter? Also, the car will not shift into overdrive at full throttle, how do I make it. If I ever decide to run the 1/4 mile, I'm probably going to need it because I already trapped 81 mph in the 1/8th mile with the 2.73 gear so I will trap higher in the 1/4 than the car is capable of right now. BTW, does anyone know right off hand what speedo gears I need for the sensor in order to correct the speedometer.
