march pulleys

Has anyone tried these pulleys (crank and alternator) on an LB9 TPI car ?

Are they a waste of time or has anyone actually seen some performance from installing these ? Just wondering if it is worth the $100 and an after-noon's work ?

Thx, RP.

Like a lot of other bolt on mods, I think they do make a slight difference. I can't pinpoint any particular mod that helped the most, but together they add up to a noticable increase in power.
I'm wondering though if anyone had the same problems that I experienced with the pulleys? The powdercoat finish immediately started to peel off. I also had a terrible squeal (not slipping) that was finaly solved, by suggestion of a heating/air conditioning engineer, with the installation of a wider power steering belt that runs higher in the pulley and stopped the noise.

I have the pulleys on my 305 but didnt notice any huge difference but that was because I threw on a bunch of other stuff at the same time. They are not going to net you 10hp or anything like that but it is just one of those things that you throw on with a bunch of other little things and you will make your car faster.
