Chip missing sticker

I just pulled my chip out to put into another computer and noticed that the sticker that covers the window on the chip is gone. If I am not mistaken doesnt this sticker cover the port that can erase the chip if exposed to uv light? If its is gone does that mean the chip has had some programing done to it. There is no info on the chip at all. Any ideas?
Thanks
Sean M

It may just mean that the sticker fell off. Put some electrical tape over it and it will be fine. If you need to know what the chip is, then you will have to find someone with a reader/programmer to have then download the contents.

Its possible that somebody reprogrammed it but highly unlikely, I'd definatly be curious to find out if its anything "different/special"
