No low end power.....
Hey guys....
My girls got a 91 Z-28 with a 350 that was swapped in by the previous owner. Ive searched night and day to figure this out but w/o luck. The car runs strong avove 2500 rpms....But if you mash it from the line...it wont even chirp the tires. Is there anything...i mean anything that would cause this car to not pull like a TPI car??? I hear they are suppose to be tq monsters...
New computer....new chip.
I'm gettin a EGR light...but im going to fix that this weekend...
Maybe TPS?
or tq converter?
fuel pressure?
If i power brake the car...it will spin the tires at 1500.... But if i mash it...nothing...then when it hits 2500...it'll get loose.
Could the previous owner put a converter in that was too tight?
Timing is at 6 or 8....
The injectors sem to be accels for a 305. Which i thought wouldnt give me a low end problem....
Any ideas would be nice
Thanks
Ed

check to make your sensors are getting the right voltage. a full tune and check the fuel pressure and adjust to specs if needed. start there b4 you atsrt ripping into it. it may just need a little loving...
