ok, im currently porting me plenum, and right now im working on the part behind the throttle body, and the little humps infront of the EGR passages. how much can i take off of the side walls right behind the throttle body wall? where it sticks in at. becuase looking at it from the outside, it seems to go in there a little bit, should i just leave that area alone.

Those walls are pretty thin. You can blend them a bit, but be very careful.
