Can i get some #s here?
How much power would i gain with Vortec heads, SPDC TPI Vortec Manifold and SLP runners?? just looking for some rough guesses here. I plan on running a LT4 Hot Cam. I know about the lift on Vortecs heads!

Anyhow, you didn't even specify 305 or 350 or 427 sbc in a little M block. You also didn't specify SD or MAF and who's gonna tune it.
If i were you i'd take a look at kevin91Z and dyno don's combos. Sure kev still has LTRs for now, but soon he'll have some hogged SLPs on it. Even with the LTRs he's doing traction limited low 13s at 108 (he has AL L98 heads too, but they aren't that different from vortecs as to not give an accurate guesstimate.) Dyno don is doing the vortec stuff, but i'm not sure on the cam, and i think he's going to be running kev's LTRs when he swaps to SLPs. Again, for guesstimates sake it gives you a peek in the ballpark. I'm sure there are others here wit hthe combo too, those just come off the top of my head though.

Yeah i guess i wasn't very specific was I. Well let me fill in the missing spaces. Its a '89 L98 in a IROC-Z. The only mods on this car are Eibach Prokit springs (all 4 corners) and KYB AGX shocks on all 4 corners. That is it though, it still has the stupid factory exhaust. Oh yeah its a MAF system. I have no one to tune it and i know jack all about tuning it i mean absolutly nothing. The most i can do it find the ECM. I need to beat my buddies '87 T-type with a 454. That's my end all to beat all. It run alot quicker then my L98 now but he runs outa steam at about 5200RPM. We usually have long races usually 1 or 2 miles. He's tough but i think i can beat him.

Just judging by the results we got from the rear wheel dyno, Kevin is making about 380hp at the flywheel, Dyno 2000 says 373hp so it looks reliable My combo says about the same 378hp so that seems to be a good representative of actual output. He has the LT-4 hot cam I'll be using the ZZ-4 cam. Anyhow we'll see!
