broken fuel regulator bolts
broken fuel regulator bolts
i was changing my fuel regulator and broke 3 bolts and can't find new bolts anywhere. i check with GM and they said i have to buy a new regulator from them . i don't want to do that . any clue what i can do or use?

If I understand correctly, you broke 3 of the little torx screws that mount the regulator to the fuel rail? If you can get them out, they should be metric thread. take one of the good ones to a hardware store and find a nut that will fit. That will give you the thread size. Take that thread size to the screw bins and find something in the right length.
You'd better find a good hardware store - those are stainless and are cheese-head Torx. The head doesn't matter that much, since a reglar Allen cap with a washer would work fine, but finding screws that are 2.5 or 3mm isn't going to be easy at Home Depot, or any other hardware grocery store.
When you're tired of calling around, check your local bulk fastener supplier or McMaster-Carr for part number 93070A061.
You could also tap the holes to 6-32 UNC and use more esily available screws, but there isn't a lot of room for error.
