Need a little help

I want to setup a killer exhaust, as well as a good valvetrain, and am wondering how to set it up and what i need. I am thinkin about the edelbrock headers, maybe the dual cat ones so i can run true duals. Also, I am thinking of gettin the comp cam extreme energy 212/218@.05, .447/.454 lift. I was gonna get the K-kit, as well as some roller rockers, and am wonderin if this is a good choice, and if i need anything else for the cam setup. Like guideplates, better pushrods, cam spacers, buttons?

If you did all that, I think you will be happy with the results. The cam will help out a lot since you have an 86 with the "peanut cam". Edelbrock headers are nice, also look into the hooker w/Y-pipe, but SLP are the best. What are you running in the 1/4 mile? How fast do you want to run?
I'm not sure what you would run, but you would definetly see some pretty major gains. As for cat back exhaust, I like my hooker system. It gave me some pretty noticable performance gains and sounds great.

good luck man!

i just got a deal on used 1.6 rollers and guideplates. i have to get my heads cut for screw-in studs now but that is cheap. you do have to get better pushrods of the right length too.
