Hose to nowhere

Hose to nowhere
I have a hose that is not connected to anything. One end of it is connected to the purge valve (small round black thing,lol), the other end is loose. I have the set-up with the air filter box in the right corner, and I don't see a canister anywhere. My Chilton's manual is useless on this. Does it affect anything leaving it unhooked?

A little more info. I just found two more thinner hoses stuffed under my air cleaner box. They aren't connected to anything either, and one of them has a plug in the end of it.
