Tough one i think!!

My car idles lower when it's cool outside. Is it just because the air is more dense or is my car not able to regulate the air enough to lower it in the summer. It is the most noticeable when you let off the gas to decelerate. I have way more compression break when it's colder outside than when it's hot. I know it's not much of a problem, i'm just curious! Thanks.

maybe its your MAT sensor. if it hasn't been replaced it might be coated in carbon.

i'm 99% sure the MAT sensor does nothing for a Mass Air car.
you car will make a little more power in colder weather than it will in warm weather so that could be what you are seeing.
