383 stroker kit???
I was thinking about gettin one of those cheaper stroker kits from somewhere, possibly speed-o-motive, but my mechanic talked me down because he said from experience that anyone selling a kit for that much isn't selling you top line parts, not necesarily the parts, but he said that he has had to charge people up to a thousand dollars to balance cheap cranks like that. I have no experience with any specific company, I was mentioning speed-o-motive because it was brought up early and not because of past dealing, just passing on information as a whole

"FORD, where quality is job number one, and flipping the explorer back over is job numner two, I supose that would make putting out the fire job number three?"
I was raised a FORD guy, but I def. couldn't resist that one.

ditto fstbrd, i've also seen and heard alot of bad things about the "made in ching-chong" parts and being very low quility and needing servere work to get them to balence right, forsure go with some made in the USA parts as you know there good, eagle makes an excellent piece, also good ol' stock GM pieces are good too.
