Should My TPI have an Electric fan?

I'm swaping a TPI engine and harness out of an 86 Iroc into my 85 z28 carb car.

I'm wondering if the 86 car would have an electric fan in it. Or did they just have a clutch fan?

The guy I bought the swap from gave me a plastic fan blade thing but no electric motor. It looks like it bolts onto the water pump but im not sure.

Thanks

Go with the electric fan brother. You can program what temps you want it on and off in the ECM. If you can get the twin fan thermo set-up go with that. I am sure you can pick up these without too much hassle.
