Tuning question

I have a chip burnt right now for 33lb injectors(which I have in the car). When I datalog it, it is way lean.

(The other chip is for 24 lb) and runs way rich.(even with the afpr turned right out and my FP being about 30lbs.)

I tried increasing my fuel pressure with the 33lb injector chip and it didn't help and I was way lean. I went to about 35-40 lb(it's hard to see on my electric short sweep fuel press. guage).
Does that chip change make that big of a difference??

Should I just try to keep increasing the fuel pressure with the 33lb chip??

I had my timing set to about 6-8degrees btw.

Re: Tuning question

Put your AFPR back to stock pressure.
You can fudge the injector constant by dropping it a bit. In effect you're lying to the computer. That'll richen you up.
Do you have the cylinder volume correct for a 383 or is it still set for a 350?

Re: Tuning question

How do you know that the 33 lb/hr chip is running lean? What are you datalogging to come up with this conclusion? And when is it lean? (at WOT or cruising around).

Re: Tuning question

I datalogged using TunerPoro RT
On the o2 sensor, it was as low as 70mhz.(the plugs were really white too)

With the 24lb chip, it never got below 800mhz.

This is at WOT at the track.

I think I am gonna burn a chip for a 26-28lb injector and it would be almost right on.
