Coil help ...

Car: 1991 GTA trans am
Engine: 305 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Coil help ...
So car has been sitting for awhile now and i went out to start it and i got nothing ... it just turned over..
I i checked if it had any spark, well come to find out the wires going into the coil had power but no spark would leave the coil..
I tried a new coil and still notihng... any ideas
