TBI fuel pump ok for TPI

Hi I have just swaped a TBI system to a TPI system I had a vac leak but thanks to you guys I have fixed it now I have a hesitation when you put your foot down,I have checke the MAP sensor and the TPS sensor they are both fine , do I need to change the fuel pump or is the TBI one ok for TPI?

TBI pump poops out at only about 15 PSI. Your new TPI system requires 42 or more. You need a high pressure (TPI-style) pump. It will bolt right in place of your stock TBI pump with little or no modification to the tank sending unit (the good news).

yep it does run the only problem is a hesitation when you open the throttle just like a carbie with the accellerator pump broken, but YES I am getting a TPI pump as soon as I can get one shipped here.

yes only throttle bodys run off that pressure any thing else you will need more pressure
