350 AFR head decision, and cam

Hey eveyone, i want to purchase some air flow research heads, but dont know which ones to buy.. which combustion chamber volume should i choose and which intake runner volume to get.. I have a stock 91 350 tpi, but will be buying as&m runners, 58 mm throttle body, and also a accel intake manifold. And i do want to raise my compression ratio from the stock 9.7:1 to about 10:1 Also i cant decide , AFR heads or Dart heads? What do you think i should go with? Thanks

Either head will work ok, AFR tends to have abit better flow but either head should outflow your TPI intake setup.

You'll have a hard time bumping compression unless you mill the heads down. Ask AFR to see if you can get their 180-195 cc head in a 60-62cc chamber. SHould help bump compression to near 10 to 1.

Dart may do the same but i'm not sure.

Mainly for that setup you'll want a 180-195 cc head. If you ever plan on building the motor down the road with more compression, different intake setup, more cubes or whatever, get the 195cc head. If not, the 180 AFR's will work great. Dart pro 1 platinums are what i'd get if going dart. They have 180 and 195 cc head i believe
