Re: Should I Worry

first off, typing in complete sentences will greatly improve ppls desire to comment on your post. second, we need more facts about your car. are you power breaking your pit start, or just dry launching from a stand still idle? if you are launching from an idle, you probably wont get much tire spin. with an auto you have to power brake to get spin. in my opinion, idle launches are harder on autos than a power brake launch.

also, at the track, you dont want to have tire spin, thats time off your e.t., which is bad. if you want to spin your tires then ya, power break it and burn em off till the rims spark. as long as it hooks up good and your getting decent times for your setup, dont worry whether your peel out or not, its not important at the track.

so if you wanna spin the tires and get some smoke, power brake. if you want to get good e.t.'s then do a braked off-idle launch. unless u have a good stall converter im guessing youll only get to about 1200 rpm for an off-idle launch. good luck!

Re: Should I Worry

and no theres not really a way to tell what cam you have unless you pull it out, or get the person who put it in to show you a reciept and cam card and pics of him installing it
