belt size question

whats up.. i deleted the passenger side bracket because i dont have ac or the smog pump and i was wondering is it possible to have a belt size thats only big enough to fit the alternator, waterpump, crank and power steering pump pulley...... oh and i guess the idler pulley things is gone to so it would need to be taken off by hand...

Re: belt size question

Without a tensioner you'll have to build some adjustment into one of the other brackets so you can tighten the belt. You also need to ensure that each accessory is spinning in the correct direction it was designed for. If you can satisfy those requirements then run a string around the proper belt routing and measure it. Belts come in all sizes.
