miss
its an 89 stock rebuilt 355 tpi has a small miss at idle. injectors test at 12.5 ohms, 2 at 12.3.
it has new cap and rotor, plugs and wires, coolant temp sensor,
pulled the plugs, pass side are all white/tan
drivers side are black but not too black, #3 is the worse, also it has part of the center electrode burnt, and a small amount of oil in threads.
also sometimes it has more of an idle problem than a miss,, it will surge about 300 rpms have to give some gas to keep running and sometimes it will idle high at about 2000-2500 rpms than come down after a few mins of driving(thinking this might be iac)
thanks, greg

Re: miss
Im only posting a suggestion because no one else has said anything cuz by no means am I a professional but I do have some experience with this
How recent was the rebuild?
You say the passenger side spark plug electrodes are all white? ash deposits - those are normal just check clean em and reinstall em
I would check for a vacuum leak but that shouldnt change the plugs
Do a vacuum check if you dont have a guage just mist all your lines with slightly soapy water and look for bubbles
Get some carb cleaner and spray around the intake and runners etc. if the idle changes you have a leak there
if that doesnt work go ahead and replace the IAC... cant hurt
if it still doesnt work make sure your tps is calibrated (doubt this is it but can cause idling problems)
Check your oil see if its milky is so
I would do a compression check have a blown head gasket
My only other thing I could guess is you might and i mean very low probability compared to the other stuff but still might have a busted ring on cylinder 3 but it would be coated in oil...
If all else fails just post that you did these tests and still nothing someone should be able to help
I hope this helps....
