Tired of stock.

I have decided to build a motor. Looking at a few different things. I have dealt with PAW in the past and will probabaly get my parts through them this time as well. Want to keep a stock stroke and end up with 10:1 or 11:1 compression. Some kind of 64cc head, not sure what to do there. It is not daily driven so I am not scared of forged pistons. I just want a solid motor that can stand some abuse. I would like to stick with the factory TPI set up but I am not against something aftermarket there either. Now all you guys need to do is give me some suggestions I have the skills to build it but I have not kept up on the parts for a wile.

Are you planning on boost to run forged pistons? If so, then why are you wanting such high compression. With high compression, you'll definately want a higher rpm powerband right? If so, TPI needs some modifying, or it has to go. 5krpms is about it.

Re: Tired of stock.

Im in the process of my rebuild now...
Im gonna be pushin around 11.5:1 compression
LB9 heads with a 3 angle valve job are throwin em on a stock bore and stroke L98 block with 89 TPI set up and some flat top pistons
Puttin a nice roller cam in 212/218@.05" .488/.495 lift 110 LSA
should be done in the next couple weeks Im expecting tons and tons of low end torque which is all I really wanted (I love jumpin off the line =P) depends on what you want for your build honestly but this is one way to go if you want higher compression

I would run 10:1... 11:1 is pretty high.

The car will be N/A but a little nitrous may be added later on. Lots of low end and mid range power can be made with 11:1, I have done it. I would be more than happy with 5,000 rpm's. Lots of different ways to do things.
