87tpi into a 91
Hi i have a complete tpi system off a 87 camaro and was wondering if i could put it in my 91RS because i am wanting to put a 350 since my engine needs some head work. Or would i be best of just going to a 350 tbi instead of tpi.

There's more work involved in using the TPI setup. You'll need the ecm and harness.
You'll be much more happy in the end going with TPI over TBI.

You're clearly in violation of California Emissions Laws if you install older engine parts and expect to pass under the smog check referee.
It's explained in this link >> http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/emissions.htm
My guess is the referee personnel are highly trained to spot these conversions.
Just posting to help out save you a headache.

An '87 harness will not work in a '91.
Like the man said, you need the '91 harness and ecm
