Car: 92 firebird gta
Engine: L98 with minor mods.
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
EGR solinoid help!!!!!!!
I have a 92 gta with the L98 engine And the egr solinoid is bad, I have tried to find one everywhere (it was discontinued) I have tried junk yards, dealers and autopart stores all with same answer can't get it anymore. So the question I have is will one from a later model work and if so witch one??? I know the vette and caprice had the same engine but i can't find one anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck is all I have to say. Most of the EGR parts for Third gens are discontinued and are not being manfactured anymore by GM or the aftermarket parts suppliers.
