TPI
Hi all,
I am a TPI newbie, and I am from Europe, so please bear with me
I have a 1990-1992 MAP TPI system that I would like to install in my 1969 350/350 4 speed Corvette.
My TPI setup is 99% complete, I just need the fuel filter and the speeder cable.
The last thing that I need is a new chip/program for the ECM, or a new ECM unit.
Can anyone help me inhere, to find setup for my chip?
My engine will be like this:
350 4 bolt std. bore.
TPI/MAP fuel injection.
Brodix 180 IK heads.
COMP CAM CL12-467-8
Rocker arms
4 speed transmission.
I can burn the chip my self, I have the burner at my work, so I just need the software/program.
Please help.
/John

Re: TPI
What ECM are you using? 90 and 91 TPIs use 7730 or 7727, the 92 is already an LT1.
No support for LT1 on this site, that's already a 4th gen f-body.
Are you done with your conversion or is that your winter project?
The speed sensor could become a problem, the ECM needs an electronic signal and your speedometer probably uses a cable? I believe there are special adapters out there for that purpose.

Re: TPI
Download this program TunerProRT
http://tunerpro.markmansur.com/downloadApp.htm
then the two files needed for your ECM $8D
http://tunerpro.markmansur.com/downloadBinDefs.htm
You need a cable to datalog the engine
http://www.aldlcable.com/
You need this to get a VSS signal from your gearbox

Re: TPI
Can download original 727/ 730 bin files from here.
http://www.moates.net/fileman/index....D%205.0%205.7s
Need to log in first
moatesuser
moatespassword
You load a original bin into TunerPro then do your mods to that file and save it for burning onto your chip.

ECM is 16196344-1227730-16198262
The TPI system is bought from this guy:
http://www.creativefuelinjection.se
It is a winter project, I have an ekstra 69 Corvette engine that I will build the TPI on. The engine dosen't come into my Corvette before I can start it up in my "engine stand"
Regarding the speed sensor, I hope that I don't have any problem, the harnesses is customs made.
