Why Vortec
Why Vortec
I am new to engine work on my camaro. Ive had it for a couple months doing rust repair and bondo work. I have an 87 302 tpi.
I have been looking at intakes, and I have heard alot of good things about vortec intakes. but what makes them so special? Why are they so good??

Well our results with the Vortec TPI intake manifold has been less than spectacular. In fact it only outflows the factory TPI intake manifold. I would go with the regular Edelbrock TPI intake manifold and stay far away from the Vortec version.

Re: Why Vortec
with that vortec intake your very limited in head choices like vortec and fastburn heads... the standard edelbrock intake flows way better out of the box and support traditional heads..
