Carb to TPI questions?!?!?

I converted my 90 camaro from tbi to carb because of problems with a cam i bought that did not go well. I was looking to purchase a new carb when i realized i can get a tpi set up for a few extra bucks and get my car running beautifully. i just have a few questions. Will any ECM i get work or does it need to be a certain one? with a 305 which injectors will i need? what sensors do i need? If there is any thing else i need to know please tell me

Would be easiest to find a same year TPI parts car and get the wiring harness , ECM and sensors out of that.

I stripped the ac from my vehicle and i dont have the smog pump hooked up. Are you saying that if i dont get a harness out of a 90 tpi setup then i will run into problems? I also dont have a carbon canister i doesnt effect the tbi i wont need it with tpi will i?

No just that it would be easier starting with a TPI harness instead of having to modify and add connectors to yours

Anything is possible ; just that '90+ are SD and earlier cars are MAF so some different connectors

What TPI system are you installing ; MAF or SD ?
You need the computer ( '165 or '730 ) from any car to match whichever setup you are running along with the correct prom
