I am restoring the dented runners on my 5.7 TPI. I have glass beaded them and they look great. Does anybody know how they were originally finished?? Left as cast? Coated? Clear Coated? Any help will be appreciated

Hello 00lund!!

As far as I can remember from day one, my runners were left as cast, and I don't remember there being any coating flaking off either!!

Definately no clear coat!!!

Can you provide a picture of yours????
