I bought the car off here last fall and took it on its first road trip last weekend. Went close to 1000 miles. Its got 103k on it and ran perfectly. my last leg was 95% highway and I was pleasantly suprised to get 24mpg

not bad for a 25yr old auto/V8.

it rained quite a bit too and no leaks anywhere.

Excellent!! I'm just getting the confidence up to take mine (88 350 Iroc) on a long trip. Just got the check engine light to go out with a new O2 sensor and have replaced my leaky injectors with some Bosch 3's.......do you have T-Tops?

 

yep, have t-tops. no issues.

drove it another 1000 miles this weekend with no problems. 20-23mpg

 

I drive 250 miles round trip to visit my dad every so often ('87 IROC 305 , A4 w/ 3.23 gear) and get great mileage too on the highway. Around town it is about 16 if I drive like an old lady. I am just turning 108, 500 on her and she runs great.
