Re: Fuel injector voltage testing question
First test the resistance with a multi meter. Use the search option to find other threads with the specs. range. If they are good, you can use just a 1.5 volt battery and very quickly tap the prongs. You should hear a click. If a click is heard, it may be good. But if they are OEM, its best to buy a set of Bosch III's from a couple of sources that are faily cheap. Around $150 for a set of 8 and they have both 19 and 21 pounders. They are not, I say agian, they are not new, but they are take outs. In other words, they are fairly new. I got a set of 21 lbs and WOW!!! They do give a more smoother ride and less hesitation. The power is there when you floor it.

Also, dont get confused with what is the firing order. Our TPI's are batch fire, meaning that the passengerside and driverside alternately fire (passengerside, driverside, passengerside, driverside, passengerside, driverside).

This is not recommended at all, but if your that desperate, it's an option.
