89 Bird wont start

Car cranks but wont start, has spark. Jumped the fuel pump and could here it hum, after jumping the pump the car will start for a second then quit. When I turn the ignition on I don't here the pump hum. What should I check next? Any Ideas would be helpful. Mechanically inclined but not a mechanic, Help Please.

Re: 89 Bird wont start

there are 3 relays on the firewall near the brake booster the square one is the fuel pump relay, don't know how to test it other than just replacing it with a new one.
