tpi help
I have a loose vacuum hose and the diagrams tell me it has to go to the HVAC. Does this mean it goes to the AC pump or to the firewall. Instructions would be greatly appriciated.

Re: tpi help
Depends, is it the long one going to the heater valve? The only other one would be the vac soruce to the heater/ac controls (or am I missing one??). Do you have a pic?

Re: tpi help
If it comes off a "t" fitting on the back of the plenum it goes to the hvac which goes through the firewall. The line may be hard to find as it is wrapped in a bundle that is behind the motor (or at least it was in my '89). I had to cut the tape away to find the line.
Also, my 86 had a box on the firewall above the wiper motor with a vac line attached to it, that could be it also.

Hey, one of those mail box shaped vacuum canisters, I didn't even know 86 and earlier had those. Mine (87 and later) all have the round ball behind the fender.
