SLP Hardware

Can anyone tell me the dimensions on the hardware for the SLP runners? I bought a used set that didn't come with the bolts and I don't even have the factory hardware to get the thread diameter and pitch from. They want $36 for replacement set, but it's only what, 18 bolts? If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated...

Re: SLP Hardware

The length you can measure yourself from the runners. Measure where the bolt goes through, and add 1/2". Adjust to nearest larger size, the holes are all at least 3/4" deep in the base. You need at least 5/16" into the base and plenum, including the gasket and given that its aluminum dont use bolts that are too short. The factory thread is 8mmx1.25.

Re: SLP Hardware

You can get a nice set of stainless or polished bolts on ebay, got mine there because the SLP hardware rusted in a matter of days

Re: SLP Hardware

Good point. I did check, I think it was TPIS website, and they wanted like $38 with shipping for the 12 bolts or whatever it was. $3 a bolt!
