355......300 h/p suggestions

What's up guys, Ive posted before on a similar subject but I'm posting again for maybe a little more advice, I have a not so performance friendly 355 build and I want to squeeze about 300 h/p out of it. Now im not trying make my car a racer or anything, just wanted to upgrade my 305 tpi with something with a little more power. I have got my hands on a freshly rebuilt 350 and I was wondering could you guys give me suggestions on ways to reach my 300 h/p expections(mind I'm a 19 year old college student so I can't afford the best of the best parts..... but I'm not broke either)..... Ok here's the specs of the engine from the guy who rebuilt it. It's a 4 bolt main, It has #624 cly heads Bronze liners, milled 010 3 angle valve job 010 block, trw 4.030 pistons, hastings single moly rings, clevite bearings HV oil pump fel pro gaskets, Double roller timing chain, valves adjusted oil primed, and it has a 272/468 erson cam, the duration of the cam is 224/224, and it has flat top piston...

Now I know for starters I'm going to need some new heads from what I read the 624 heads are the worst of the worst, now what would be some good cast number heads for the swap, if I can't find any good ones then I'm just going to get some vortec heads) but if possible to reach my 300 h/p goal without them I will because it will save money

Also if I do get a pair of vortec heads, what should the specs be of the heads to run optimal with my cam

I planned on using my stock tpi but my last post said this wouldn't be a good idea for my cam, so I'm going to get the holly stealth ram

Also going to throw some headers on as well

So could you guys give me some of your ideas on how I can reach 300 horse power with my engine.......

Seach for a topic by Fast355. He built a 310 that made a lot of power, whithout breaking the bank.
