Advice, Very hard to start cold 1988 L98.

Guys,

When the car is cold it takes several attempts to start. Do you have any ideas as to what may cause this. I dont drive the car often but start it at least once a week. I generally drain the battery before it starts. Could this have something to do with the cold start injector?

Thanks for your help.

could be a few things. Vaccum leak is what come to mind first, could be injectors, could be cold start injector.

You could have a dead or plugged cold start injector. Try starting it with a spritz of carb cleaner in the intake next time and see if it starts easier.
