I am trying to get my 1987 L98 5.7L engine to fire. I have done an engine swap from an '87 Camaro into an '87 Landcrusier. I am gaining 100 hp and nearly 10 MPG with this swap as well as loosing 200 lbs. I cannot get my injectors to pulse. I turn on the key and the fuel pump makes sound pumping up pressure to the fuel rail which tests at 35psi on my pressure gauge. I am getting really good spark. I just cannot get the noid light to blink, indicating the injectors are not firing. I made up the wiring harness with a harness from an '85 Corvette. The harness didn't come with the MAF relay, MAF burn off relay or burn off module but I was able to find it off of ebay. My question is: what is the wiring identification for the burn off module and MAF relay? I cannot find on the several wiring diagrams I have the colors of wires that come out of the module or relays and the module doesn't have any numbers or letters, A..B...C... on them to show what wire is what on the wiring diagrams!! Can anyone help me out with this dilemma so I can properly wire up this module along with relay and also the MAF relay. The wires coming out of the burnoff module are starting from the right to left: Red, Blue, Green, White, Black, and Yellow. Also on the MAF relay there is no idenification and they are right to left: Large brown with white stripe, Black with white stripe, Another Black with white stripe, Small orange and then Large orange, which I will assume is Battery power. Anybody know what these colors are or what the CKT #'s are or ????????? And oh yes, I do wish I had the money to buy a painless wiring harness, they are over $1000!!!!! cannot afford this so I am stuck with a mess that I know I will figure out....someday!!! Any help will be much appriciated!!!!!!

You don't say what model computer you are using ?
85 was a one year wonder with a completely different setup to 86 - 89 TPI

Painless are not the only ones
Much cheaper elsewhere

What you failed to mention in this question is that you are trying to match the one year only '85 MAF controller
setup to a 86 -89 computer which uses a completely different arrangement
Either run a '85 ECM with what you have or get the later relay setup to suit the '165 ECM you have now

Have you repinned the '85 harness to suit the 165 ECM?
Is not a plug in swap. Several wires need to be changed on the ECM plugs

See links below for '85 ( '870 ECM) to '165 ECM swap info
