BOSCH 13077
I swaped out my 1 wire stock O2 sender for the BOSCH P/N 13077 3 wire heated O2 sender mainly due to my full lenght headers.
To make a long story short at first the Bosch O2 sender worked fine but now with 300 miles on it it's starting to have a intermediate code 44.
Once in a while.
I read some where else that anouther C4 guy said stay awy from the Bosch brand O2 senders.
What you thinking about this.
I hate to go by anouther O2 sender again.
Is there a better made O2 than Bosch out there.
I also ned a part Number.

Don't believe everything you read on line.
Look at some of the stuff you have had problems with in the last year that nobody else ever has
Bosch are the O2 sensor of choice for many aftermarket Wideband O2 units like the popular Innovate products
Have you rechecked your wiring for continuity / bad connections since YOU did the swap?
Have you data logged to see when fault happens?
Is the heating element getting power full time
Maybe the heater is not working so you are in the same situation as before with the O2 getting cold and dropping out @ idle

Re: BOSCH 13077
Bosch wide band O2 sensors are great.
in the past i've had some problems with Bosch NB O2 sensors, so i would only use Delco O2 sensors on GMs. but i have been out of auto repair for almost a year now. i don't know if its true or not, but i've heard that lately the Delco O2 sensors have really dropped in quality.
Bosch used to make the Delco O2 sensors to GMs' specs. maybe GM switched suppliers.
AFS74 is a 3 wire Delco O2 sensor, AFS75 is a 4 wire Delco O2 sensor.
besides checking the wiring, getting a data log and seeing whats going on may point out what the problem is.
a dirty fuel filter or a weak fuel pump can also set a 44.

Re: BOSCH 13077
I have a new fuel pump, injectors new, fuel filter.
I need to also tell you this started after I washed the motor off with engine cleaner and a good hose down.
I was thinking it was a wet conection some where but after a full day letting thing dry off after a engine run and a 40 mile drive.
I reset the computer it still has a intermediate service engine soon lite.

Re: BOSCH 13077
some of the engine cleaner may have gotten into the O2 sensor and hurt it.
you never know just what is in that stuff to start with, or what it turns into when it gets hot.
kind of like using brake cleaner on a pice of metal and then welding on it. brake cleaner by itself isn't too bad if you get a wiff or 2 of it, but heat it up and a very tiny amount can permantaly mess you up very badly or kill you.
