lt1 intake for gen 1 sbc

I am thinking about doing these conversions, I have done them in the past which have been successful. However, I am looking for feedback from people to see if they think it would be worth continuing to do. If people are interested in this conversion I would then sell them! I would probably be asking $550 & that would consist of intake manifold, throttle body, & distributor, fuel rail, & stock lt1 injectors. For a bit more money I can upgrade the injectors. I currently have no pictures of the last ones that I have made. But it is one of the cleanest I've ever seen done. Looking forward to the feedback.

Re: lt1 intake for gen 1 sbc

In my opinion, and having used an LT1 intake on a SBC, I so much did not like the remote thermostat and extra hoses that I purchased a TPIS Mini Ram.

To further elaborate, I had issues with the manifold cracking where the coolant fittings were installed. It's just too thin in the corners. This was one of the intake manifolds done by John Millican (back in "the day"). Better coverage of the coolant ports was accomplished with welds.

This all worked fine.
