91 305 to 327 now to 350 Head and cam question

Hello guys,

I bought a 91 Z28 with TPI or i guess you could say rescued it. The guy I bought it from told me the motor had been switched from a 305 to a 350 from an 89 vette, I knew better because it was a driver side dipstick motor. I knew the car had some motor issues when i bought it but thats ok, I planned on rebuilding it anyway.

I finally got started on it and found out the motor isn't a 350 but instead it's a 327 with the 305 heads. I'm trying to figure out my best options with what I have.

327 has to go...Heres what I have to work with;

350 4 bolt main bored .030 over, steel crank with stock rods and flat tops.

14022801...80-86...305 heads (about 1000 miles on them) They have been opened up to 1.94 1.60 new valves, new springs, retainers and seals. I know how to port if these would work best.

14101081 heads...87-95...305 (stock that came on the car?? I guess)

376445 heads 77-85...350 76cc chamber with a fresh rebuild

Cam--open for suggestions--will be a daily driver but would like some decent power

Induction--retaining the TPI, porting and cleaning up the intake, runners and plenum adding a CAI...Thats where my knowledge ends on TPI...suggestions? Plan on trying the tuning myself after a lot of reading here.
